Contrast Water Therapy

Contrast therapy involves alternating between hot and cold environments, in this case magnesium pools. The contrast in temperature causes your blood vessels to constrict and expand, increasing blood flow and removing inflammation and toxins. This rapid increase in blood flow carries extra oxygen and nutrients to your muscles to assist with repair and recovery, reduce pain and stiffness and also increase your metabolism. The addition of magnesium in the water helps regulate your bodies own magnesium stores, further aiding muscle recovery and reducing inflammation.
